The dogs teeth are removed and replaced with titanium teeth.
They also have ear buds implanted so that the SEAL can give the dog orders

German shepherds’ are the most common dogs used for military operations, they are very smart. During our search and destroy missions at Viet Nam we always had the LRRP’s (Long Range Recon Patrol) with a scout dog. They could hear sounds we weren’t aware of to alert its trainer. They saved our lives many times if it weren’t for those scout dogs.

Oh yeah? You believe that?
They MAY have one or two titanium teeth due to teeth needing to be fixed, the same as when we need a crown. To replace all of their teeth would defeat the object of it. They wouldn't be as secure as a normal tooth would be.
The ear bud would defeat the dogs hearing, and not enable it to hear as well as it could. So I doubt that's true. Couldn't find anything about that.
