Snuggs09: I saw a story on the news tonight about dogs that are trained for the SEALS.
The dogs teeth are removed and replaced with titanium teeth.
They also have ear buds implanted so that the SEAL can give the dog orders
The dogs are strapped onto the SEAL and get an oxygen mask for jumping out of helicoptershttp://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelookout/20110505/ts_yblog_thelookout/intense-interest-surrounds-dog-who-helped-capture-bin-laden
You forgot to mention they have a little operation on there throat to take the Squeek out of them as well .
Just imagine if we used all our resources on prevention not aggression- maybe, perhaps a lot of things would change and be done/manufactured differently and that elusive realm of happiness and love would be glimpsed
German shepherds’ are the most common dogs used for military operations, they are very smart. During our search and destroy missions at Viet Nam we always had the LRRP’s (Long Range Recon Patrol) with a scout dog. They could hear sounds we weren’t aware of to alert its trainer. They saved our lives many times if it weren’t for those scout dogs.

Oh yeah? You believe that?
They MAY have one or two titanium teeth due to teeth needing to be fixed, the same as when we need a crown. To replace all of their teeth would defeat the object of it. They wouldn't be as secure as a normal tooth would be.
IN WW1 the french used the beauceron to carry messages across the trenches and mined fields- it was so fearless a land mine or shell could explode near it and it wouldnt flinch, most of them were lost.
