I think you should try to stick to your home town for serious dating and meeting up. Not saying there aren't genuine folks everywhere, but just easier. Well I find that to be the case. If you just want to chat then chat to everyone around the world it's good for your heart.
I believe the longer you are on these dating sites the wiser you become. You will meet someone genuine and nice hang in there.
As for scammers you will learn to pick them out they aren't that smart. Good luck from a caring CS member.

Maybe you could try to be more realistic in your search? I looked at your profile and noticed your looking for women starting at age 18?You start feeling like your going to be single forever.

Your older than most of their fathers..I doubt many that age will be applying. sorry but along with other factors on your profile, i dont think its a very realistic expectation.
I would also recommend some self improvements..ie> go to the gym, work out, get a new wardrobe and spruce up your dating appeal. Just some helpful advise..Along with a more realistic age range..

I like the analogy.
Yes, we've become relationship scrounging scum, sponging off respectable people in relationships who get taxed a ridiculous amount of snogs against their will.
We're just lazy not getting our own relationships and we should accept anything with minimum emotional return, even if its untenable to survival, so we can claim relationship status respectability.
We should be forced to go on relationship retraining programmes, starting with learning how to say, "Hello".
Now I understand the meaning of the term, friends with benefits.

hmm I wondering if this is the only way you are trying to meet people? Try joining some local clubs in your area as well; get yourself out there to meet new people. Good luck to you.
