BARTERING IS A WAY OF GETTING THINGS DONE WITHOUT COST.
THIS WORKS VERY WELL IN MANY PARTS OF THE COUNTRY AS I HAVE
SEEN ON TV.
ITS A SUPER WAY OF GETTING THE HOUSEHOLD THINGS DONE AND NO
BIG BILLS TO PAY.
ANY THOUGHTS ON IT, HAVE YOU DONE IT.
WOULD YOU DO IT?
USING ONES SKILLS TO TRADE IS A GREAT WAY TO SAVE WITH THE
ECONOMY THE WAY IT IS. I AM UP FOR IT ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

I have 3 cats so no coat required
Alterations to clothes might be useful
A lift wouldn't as I am in London

I could look after one cat, maybe 2 at the most, if you are going on holiday for a week or two and as my house is flea free, they are wormed, but not vaccinated (as they never go out) your cat(s) would need to be wormed, deflead and up-to-date vaccinations and I would only charge for Hills dry food and Tesco value cat litter - so we are talking about a charge of £5 per week per cat.
I could do your ironing. I have a steam generator iron which is an amazing invention and cuts down ironing time and also irons materials that would not be allowed to be ironed with a conventional iron.
I could do typing (I am a trained medical typist) but any typing would be ok. Dictated over the phone to me and I could type as you are talking to me, or even do shorthand, and then I email the MSWord document back to you for printing out.
I can teach shorthand (Teeline method) but I doubt anyone wants that skill.
Hmmm, I may think of others but need to get ready soon to go out for some hours.

Caution re the Rules though when you reply to threads!
So many watching and ready to clip your wings.
See in your area its not a bad idea at all to do these things.
All the thing we could do for each other and have jobs we need doing also in exchange without cash.
