If I went out with a 30 something yo, I'd have to have a love child with her.
I'd be like 60+ when my kid was 20yo.
I really don't want to go back to changing nappies at my age now.
But I'm looking forward to doing it when my kids have kids, at least you can give them back.

That is one of the hard things about dating in my age group. So many men my age haven't ever settled down and had kids and would like to. I have been there and done that, and really don't want to do it again, but do I deny someone that right to have children of their own? It was a big factor in deciding who to date.

Its true, I dont want more children. I've had mine, and Im excited watching Short grow up, just as I'd be excited watching the SO's children grow up... but I dont want to be starting to make new ones with anyone.

I see alot of fellas have 'not sure' and 'yes' for more children, even in my age bracket. I agree I dont want to be changing nappies when Im 50 - I'd rather be handing the Grandkiddie back so that their mum can change the nappy grin

Im curious.....why is a baby conceived, generally from a one night stand called a love child?? No love was involved Im sure. On the other hand if a married couple conceive when they werent ready its called a "mistake"?

Same here lve had my children and dont want to have anymore, cant anyway. Nor do l want to raise someones elses children.
That phase of my life is over. So its also a big factor for me to whom l can date.

Yep Ralf and Shell I'm in the same boat, although getting past the danger age now- I'm 38 and REALLY not keen to do nappies, sleep deprivation, teething and bed wetting all over again. I'll help raise someone's kids, make a combined family- sure- but starting over from newborn? Yikes. It would probably kill me now laugh

I've always thought of a love child as a baby an 80yo has with a 30yo Thai/Phillipino girl.

why would you have to have a child if you dated a 30 something? Sure many may still be seeking their family, but there are plenty who have already had their kids and now just looking for a companion to share their family with...
