Thinking about it.... Honestly I dont think I miss a thing now I'm single! Ive had more romance in my life, felt more appreciated, had a lot more fun, experiencing more in life, socializing a lot more, feel independent for the first time. Single life is great! But Id love to have all that with a caring partner

Shell225: I also miss adult conversation ... sharing books, poetry, cooking for someone who appreciated my efforts ..
and I really do miss just getting a bit whenever I felt like it..
Absolutely
and I miss having someone to snuggle up to and put my cold feet on in bed. And someone to split the firewood coz I am pretty dangerous with a block splitter, nearly taken myself out a few times with it.

I used to love putting my freezing feet in his armpits.. and he never squealed or complained. I miss the manly man stuff too, like when you brake light blows and they change it for you, cause they'd hate to think someone ran into you.

normalguy68: A loving wife waiting at the door with my slippers when I get home from work, a warm home, dinner on the table, etc, etc...
Well for a start you'd be getting your own slippers. Dinner would be ready when it was ready not as soon as you got home and as for the warm home that would depend on whether you had chopped and bought the wood in the day before.
