It just makes me wonder, why are you back here? I didn't fall for your scam, my age range is 20 years under what you say you are, and you are literally the other side of the world. Why come back to view me again this week? sigh

I suppose, sometimes the profile picture changes, sometimes they forget who you are.

I usually check out profiles to see what demographic a person posting in the forums is. For instance, how would you get the point across that daylight savings is useless in the tropics to a Victorian who had never experienced the cinstant 13 hour days of Far North Australia.

Of course profiles don't always tell the full story. Ralf is in Victoria and I assumed she would be an AFL follower. I posted a smart comment. But Ralf was actually born and raised in Queensland and follows Rugby League.

Yes, and daylight savings is a waste of time in QLD grin

I think they often just scouting looking for people to send their bland emails out to in bulk to any person who will read it in the hope someone will respond.

Yep, I could understand it if they were communicating with me, but I guess maybe they are the scammers come back for another look? For example there is one from Latvia, 67, no emails or flowers in his own name, not on forums, but has viewed my profile 5 times in 3 weeks dunno Seems really odd to me- and he's not the only one. I'll have a metaphorical drink with nearly anyone, but this is just odd.

Mates you havn't seen what daylight is until you are in Alaska in the summer. The sun is up before 4am, its still up at midnite and the hours in between you don't need headlights at all its just like a dawn but different. Yeah its summer right now here, its so bright 24 hours every day right now and I live in my man cave that has no windows at all because I want it absolutely dark so I can sleep at night.

Well in our winter its the opposite, sunrise at 10am, sunset at 4pm, sun is so low on the horizon its just a pale light like a weak flashlight. Its because Alaska is so far north you know. The Arctic circle is only like 300 miles I think north of me.

I am so glad you said that, I was going to ask you as I was watching a movie today 'The Proposal' which is set in Alaska with my brother in law and I was asking why they were going to bed in the daylight. He said it had long daylight hours but I thought it was the other way around so I will have to tell him he was right. doh

Just as well in Tassie laugh

I would love the sunlight. I sleep better in the day than I do at night. I think I am nocturnal. laugh

Well its a LOT of sun but its not like a tropical sun, its a lot of light but you probably won't get much of a tan or sunburnt unless you have really sensitive skin. And we had a really hot day just the other day, we actually got up to 75 degrees F, what is that 23C down there? Anything hotter and we get heat exhaustion!

Ha, many so called "Alaska" movies are filmed in Canada or some lower 48 state like Washington. But the recent Alaska reality shows are all really filmed here. But the ones like "Ice Road Truckers" are silly, I drive trucks in the winter and they make it overly dramatic. And silly.
