half cup moong dal
or any kind of dal.
onions
tomatoes
potatoes
any one kind of englsin vegetables
like gobi, or cauliflar or capsicum
1 tea spn of coconut powder
1 tea spn of jeera npowder
1 tea spn of mustad seed
1 tea spoon of dhania powder
pinch of chilli powder
pinch of salt
1 glass of water
1 tea spn of basin
slice carrot 1 piece
and i tea spn of oil
all this should be put in the pressure cooker on slow fire for ten minutes
take out the lid and boil till little dry
it is a wet dish meaning there should be gravy
so do not dry compltely stir to make out the dryness
and serve hot!!!!
it should be in liquid form
do not dry completely

I've never heard of Dal, period and haven't heard of about 1/2 of these ingredients. Hope it tastes good.

Oh, ok.

There are many Asian supermarkets near where I live and all these ingredients are readily available. I used to make my own dal years ago, in fact I almost lived off it for a while.
I'll try the recipe above and see how it compares.

Is it healthy, good for you. Like, I don't use white flour, I use whole grain/wheat flour, it's better for you. So was wondering if this Dal is healthy for you.
