ok, guys are supposed to post this, but i had to interject something...romance can be that leg over yours when you cuddle...it can be so many things..but it must be on the level of what each of you see as romantic and your hearts both have to be on the same page... I have had dozens literally of roses, cards, notes, sonnets, candlelit dinners, been flown on trips, etc, etc...guess what? all of it meant nothing...overkill from those who didnt have my heart and were trying to jump start it and a relationship with me...but one man who did and always will have my heart and I had a fight once. He pulled up and looked at me-and did the "woman, get in the damned truck"...and it made my knees weak...we sat later in that old beatup truck, in the pouring rain, in the middle of a parking lot and he sang me an entire Travis Trett CD...that was possibly the most romantic moment of my life...no atmosphere,no flowers, no sappy cards, just raw feeling... damn. my point is that you gotta have the heart of the person before it becomes romance...too many men try too hard...(like dont even bring the flowers till you each feel it)...romance can be a parking lot on a dark cold night....when I open the door on my first date and a guy is standing there with flowers, I want to shut the door and scream...dont push the romance, dont look for it in traditional ways... it is there in everything if two hearts are on the same page...
