Watched the Consumer Show Yesterday evening and they are saying that we should haggle for consumer goods and servicesapplause applause

I haggle when I think I can get away with it laugh I got myself 100 euro knocked off my new tv banana

a friend of mine is brilliant at it and got about 10k knocked off her wedding thumbs up

i work in a shop and i don't mind a bit of haggling but some take it too far expect you to sell things at cost price or lower and then get uppity when you say no what d*ckdoh

Haggled in Turkey recentley they have it down to a fine art out there in Morocco and |Tunisia to have not done it in England apart from my Turkey holiday whn i got £150 knocked off the price and insurance thrown in as well

I find it very hard to haggle , used to do it years ago , you know ,chance my arm and all that . But this financhial climate makes it so hard to do that now .sigh

There piece on renault window regs has kept me in work...laugh..

Re Haggling, I remember a saying from years back..."only a fool pays retail"...and so it is...
Ill do the research and set up 2 or 3 places to get what it is im looking for then play each of against the other...There mad for ya business out there (the indipendants that is), high street names wont move, there hands are tied, but its still nice watching them push for the sale when your holding all the aces...Am I being mean?...
