Well,did he know about it all the time,authorise the phone tapping? Has she got that recorded?By doing what he is doing,is he looking for damage limitation,ie,seen to be an honourable person by closing the paper,so it doesnt affect his TV aspirations.

Probably, Murdoch cannot let it go. But do we now look at his bid for the T V Channels......Also the actions of the Met Police are suspect as well as they admitted receiving cash for information.
The whole thing reeks and the folk in charge are trying to get away with it.....
