Ah its not that sore, got stung a few weeks ago on the arm, first time since i was about 8........brought back memories actually

A wasp sting is different from a bee sting, in terms of acidity I think, one requires rubbing vinegar on it, but I can't remember which one!

To treat a wasp sting, you need to neutralize the alkaline sting by applying something that is acidic. The most obvious acidic household product is vinegar. Therefore, should you get a wasp sting, pouring vinegar over the affected area is a good way to go about relieving the pain. Lemon juice and other acidic household products will also do the trick. Be careful when looking for something that is acidic, as you don’t want to use anything that is too acidic, as it might burn your skin.

P.S If its a bee sting you would put toothpaste on it as that's a totally different sting altogether like

make sure u remove the sting
tweezers always does the job and i hear pple use baking soda and swear by it
