You can always ignore your daughter when she says anything about it.
I haven't dated much, but nearly all have been older than me, up to 15 years older. I've always preferred it that way, but now that I'm "older", younger women have started to be appealing as well.
Younger as in my age or in their 30's.Whatever, it's all good.

I like being grumpy , i started training when i was about 20.

Having dated older men in my younger days, I think it can bring power imbalances and I think that's often why older men like younger women - they're easier to push around.
I've been propositioned by younger men, but again, I find that power balance discomfiting, not to mention having little in common.
Having said that as women, its us that have pushed the boundaries in terms of gender equality. I've noticed that my daughter's friends have a completely different attitude towards women than my age group and my parent's age group. In that respect, I think there can be a balance of attitude with the older woman/younger man scenario that women my age don't get with their own age group.

My ex was younger than my eldest son.....he was ok with it,same as my younger children. They didn't take any notice of the age gap to be honest, they could see we were happy and that's all that mattered really......
