Can someone, anyone enlighten this lummox here please? How can I tell that we are now actually "dating"? or still just flirting. What are the rules? Or the usual things that happen? What to look out for to ensure that he is really interested in me and not just a loafer with nothing else to do or someone needing to boost his ego? Too many questions i know but hey, this is a relationship and dating lummox writing here so please forgive.

I think you can date online but the ultimate goal is to meet sometime in future. At times you may not need see the person physically to know who you are dealing with.Yes some met here online and today they are great couples

Alot of people can say anything behind a screen..
I met my Husband on here 3 years ago..
both of us had no intention on meeting anyone..just came here for the forums...
if a guy tells you to good to be true..then it probably is..
you can usually tell if he is interested in you..or himself..or just loafing..
he will be interested and listen to what you say..
Long Distance is really hard and when you do meet and hit it off..there is alot more to go through..its hard..alot of understanding..commitment...trust...honesty etc..
If i had to do it over again..i would never/ever do long distance again...
I love my Husband dearly and plan on death due us part...

I rely on success stories on this site.I do believe it can happen. When? It depends with the couple, and how they are ready to overcome challenges.Even when you meet physically, the time lines depends from one person to another

wow - you have a love story that i would love to have too someday. i am usually here for blogs nowadays.
i just find myself asking all these questions and half guessing the answers. which i think will ultimately land me in a heap of dirt. i dont seem to know what im doing and it is pretty scary.

I understand , your patience will pay.Probably the best would have been to address the work permit challenges before he crossed over. With life being not very easy, it is hard.

Do any of us really know? There is no set formula a script to follow, and even if there was, I would likely tear it up anyway.
Fly by the seat of your pants, with the hope of grabbing someone by the seat of their's.

hola kid!!! well - im kinda hoping some other peoples have been online dating for a bit now. show me the ropes i mean. or just have some answers. doesnt have to be right. just an answer. i dove into this a few years back and made some pretty fatal mistakes so to speak. and since, the locals doesnt seem interested, i tend to end up with guys in other continents.
