I know the lady had a lot of emotional demons but one cannot get away from the fact that she was one very talented songwriter and most of her songs came straight from the heart echoeing her trials and tribulations of her short and troubled life.

She was a messed up chick, but god did I love some of her songs....great talent!

I just found out this morning.
Back to Black has been my favourite album in my collection for a looooong time. That album kept me sane for a while. Oh boy. Total, absolute bummer.
IMO "Love is a Losing Game" described heartbreak better than any other song I've heard.

I don't know what the answer was - what more could have been done for her. I'm sure her family tried so hard to straighten her out. They must be devastated. I'll always be grateful for the music she made during the short time she was alive.
