TEASE: I got a text message earlier saying
"heya happy birthday amanda here I have a prezzie for you"
so I responded pretending to be whoever
kept it up for a while
next thing things start turning a little dirty and she asks to meet
I told her "I dont think thats a good idea"
she said "why"
I said "cos I dont believe you know who you are talking to"
she said "paul???"
I said "no I dont even know a paul"
her "OMG I'm so sorry"
me "its ok if anything it brightened my day and I got a laugh"
her "tell me about you"
we chat for a few minutes and she asks to meet me
at the tescos in my hometown tomorrow which she
knew by name (I never told her where I live)
Me "when did I mention where I live?"
and not a peep on the phone since
Im a bit freaked out to say the least

That's a bit too wierd alright! Have u tried the voicemail thing, to see if you recognise their voice... Or if they're even female?? You just put 5 after the 086/087 whatever the number is, and it just goes straight to voicemail :-)

thats means they have no voicemail set up i reckon its someone takin the piss m8, i used to get that regularly when my phone numbers were plastered all over the place when i'd me own business, specialy after the pub hours

If it says leave a message then they have messages stored more than likely. Get into them and you'll normally get an idea who the person is. Its what the NoTW did.....really easy to do.

Try #31# and the whole number and it will ring their number but withhold yours. That way you can at least find out if its a woman if the person answers
