A roll of black insulation usually does the trick grin

Head to the scrap yard and see if they have any there, shouldn't be that much thumbs up

The manual unit is about €60 and the electric unit is about €85 but you could pay more. Fitting is extra unless you can do it yourself. The electric has a bit of wiring and a garage would probably charge about €40 (to a man).

2010 focus? i would imagine with the car still being fairly new the owner will hardly settle for a secondhand mirror nd will most likely take it back to the main ford dealer, if i wher you i'd brace myself for a bill of 200+ euro if it less its a bonus conversing

from a motor factor i see it quoted at 104 euro including vat up to the 2005 model (Calbro Motor Factors, Galway), however, factor parts are not made for the 2010 ford focus model yet as far as I could find out. so you he has to go to the main dealer so it could be quite expensive. Factor parts are made by other companies other than ford for example so they are cheaper, they are generic parts, same quality. there will also be a labour charge which will be heafty in the main dealer so this will add up, probably be an insurance job if you have no claim protection. Maybe the way to go.

If he is easy going it might be help
