In response to: hey guys and girls. As someone who reads constantly, looking for some new reading material please.
so feel free to suggest some books that really blew your mind.. perhaps even a top five of your fav books of all time.
I tend to read of lot of fantasy/horror/supernatural... or any type of book that sees the real world cross itself with something supernatural.
However, that's not all I read. Love the classics as well. So feel free to give me some suggestions.
I read your profile... I thought that was a good start. Other than that.. I have read ,
"You can get arrested for that" by Rich Smith "Great Australian Railway Stories" by Bill Marsh " Good Girls don't make history" by Jan Stradling "True History of the Kelly Gang" by Peter Carey "Red carpets and other banana skins" by Rupert Everett
My reading list is rather eclectic. However I do have to agree with one of the ladies above... Clive Cussler is very entertaining

A short novel by Liza Dalby, The Tale of Murasaki. About life in Japan in the 11th century describing some of the Chinese influence Interesting, creative and poetic at times.
My favorite author is Ken Follett. The list is too long to name all his books. Probably his most famous is "Pillars Of The Earth" which was a very difficult book to follow but I got through it.
One of these days I'm going to tackle a book that's been on my bookshelf for a long time. A little 'ol thing by Tolstoy, "Anna Karena"..
