Ideal first date would be bar food in a great pub in Sligo followed by a trawl of the town checking out any pub that looked interesting from the outside, music is always a bonus

Shoot the Crows and Hargadons are two of the best! Love them....

so many good pubs in sligo but then it depends on if you want a quiet place to sit and chat or somewhere you want to have more people

Well its a few years since I was there but it was the total opposite...a proper old pub...similar, if a bit better furnished, to that place in Drogheda....
