Well, let's see, my dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, kids live in Alaska. I was born there, lot of friends still live there...some of us like traveling though....grin

I've known people that have lived there, it is beautiful. I think the long days, short nights, cold temps in winter, probably keep people from living there along time or at least allot of people. Not sure if this is true, but I've heard that if you go up there and live for 7 years or so, the state will actually give you land. Might have to look that up to confirm.
