Of course a guy that makes a girl laugh has more of a chance than one that bores her to tears,there still has to be an attraction tho..and I think some guys struggle to know the difference between rude & funny than just plain crude

we all have a different sense of humour..I tend to laugh at the most inappropriate things ...stuff that other people find very offensive ..different strokes for different folks

Rehearsed jokes, not so much. Casual good humoured banter that falls into a conversation does the trick for me.
More important, IMO, is the flow of the conversation itself. Silences can be crucifying.
