It means, I think you deliberately used the word terrorist knowing that in the west the popular, ney prejudiced, image of terrorism is linked with Islam.

Perhaps she wasn't afraid of him before the shooting but I'm willing to bet when she saw him pointing a gun at her that she was afraid of him then.
IMO, when you terrorize someone, you want to create fear in that person.
Bullying is a form of terrorism, IMO.
A boss continually screaming at an employee is a form of terrorism, IMO.
IMO, a terrorist isn't only a person who blows up buildings.
When my husband was drunk he got a shotgun out of the gun cabinet, forced me to the floor and scared the hell out of me. He terrorized me, therefore, he was a terrorist.
