anonymous1: "Therefore, theories can be disproven."
"At the time it is made, no exceptions have been found to a law."

.

You should have read on...As you can see, there is no 'proof' or absolute 'truth' in science. The closest we get are facts, which are indisputable observations. Note, however, if you define proof as arriving at a logical conclusion, based on the evidence, then there is 'proof' in science. I work under the definition that to prove something implies it can never be wrong, which is different. If you're asked to define hypothesis, theory, and law, keep in mind the definitions of proof and of these words can vary slightly depending on the scientific discipline. What is important is to realize they don't all mean the same thing and cannot be used interchangeably.

So the term "Law" is relative......as is "Theory"

But we are discussing religion and that is totally not a Law....But a belief....grin cheers

jac379: Because its a story made up by men over many centuries.

It was not a story made by men, it was a biographie created by disciples.
But trying to answer some arman81`questions:
After telling his beloved disciples for them to have courage because he won the world looks up to heaven and says: "Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son that the Son may glorify thee: as given him power over all flesh, in order that he should give eternal life to all of you. and this is eternal life: that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work which you gave me to do: and now, glorify me with thine own self with the glory I had with thee before the world was. "
The content of this dialogue intriguing. Only prayed to his Father and to listen to anyone else. However, as was full of emotion, it made a silent prayer, but in high-sounding voice, so the disciples heard it. The words he spoke strongly said the young John he never forgot them. So, after so many decades, the registered

In this prayer Jesus made a startling announcement. He said that his Father is the eternal God. But was he not the son of Mary and Joseph? was He not only a carpenter from Nazareth? In this prayer it is assumed outright that it was not only a complete man, but it was also the God son, the second person of the mysterious Trinity. The most intriguing of the men, who never sought fame and ostentation, assumes the status of God, and not just an intelligent human being, especially unusual.

The DISCIPLES who you say created the story were men. So your argument blows itself out of the water in the first line....grin cheers

{{Forum Post: I have read the Bible and i got some questions............
1. If Jesus was God, Why did he use to pray? pray to ownself??
2. Jesus, Adam, Abraham and few others were mentioned as the son of God in Biblical language. why the christans only follow Jesus and not others?
3. there is not a single verse in the complete bible where Jesus himself said "i m God or worship me". then why jesus is considered as God?
4. trinity is another word never mentioned in the bible. and not a single verse supports the idea of trinity. then why this trinity?

i have many additional questions and would welcome helpful discussion. my post is for discussion, not to fight.}}

to whoever it reads.

What if the answer was revealed. would there still be doubt? And if we did find that any of the things said here were true, what would people have to argue about? Do people really want to get along or take a look at what the person next to them is or what they have endured so that they may also listen unto you? I truly wonder if we would just downsize it and raise the fee. Even though the OP asked a specific question, many people came to discuss other agendas. If I said what I believe I would surely perish even more than I do even now. So maybe we will know one day. Maybe we will understand many things, but not when we planned but when we were planned to learn them.

I like your thinking Nikos, finally something that makes sense. Do people really want to get along? I think not, but so very few would admit to this. It would be far better to look at the person standing next to you, the man or woman laying in bed with you, the person or people living next door, and really want to know them for who they are. Not where they worship or if they do or don't.

Everything you have read regarding The Bible being wrong.... was written by men.

Every belief you have regarding The Bible was influenced by men.

You yourself, are a man.

The opinions you are voicing do not come from a superior source, than the source you're dismissing.

Yep as I make mistakes and have opinions,so did the men who wrote the so called Holy Books.

That makes both them and the books fallible.

Thank you for helping me prove the point of the FALLIBILITY of man...

And thereby the Fallibility of their books....grin cheers
