No matter how much you email/text, even talk on the phone you really dont know a person until you actually meet in person

agreed.. until u meet in person, you just don't know... of course it helps if you get on when ur chatting online first... but you'l never know anything until you meet them

still, no one has commented on the fact my dates housemate was someone who was mailing me quite a bit even though i never replied to her... i thought that a bit funny :)

lol only natural friends end up on same site..i know for a fact ive friends here who dont post and havent told me they are here..
what i find weird is the fact ur openly ridiculing a girl for mailing u even tho u dont reply..kinda sinister. and uve just let her flatmate know shes on here if shes here too.

ridicule????? don't see how i did that.... and i wouldn't talk about the date or anyone of they were on this site... both of them on a different site.

went out on a date tonight with a girl I met online. It was fine, nice company, attractive, but just no spark. (what's new?)
Anyway, after a few drinks in a hotel bar (7up for me) I dropped her home and she asked me in for a cuppa. I said sure.
We're sitting in her living room when her housemate comes in. My date introduces me to her, I recgonise her immediately. She does too, I can see it on her face.
She has sent me maybe 4 or 5 emails that all went like 'Hi, how's your day?' type thing in the last few weeks. I responded to none of them.
Now she obviously didn't say anything, just a hello, but she did turn bright red and i'm sure my date noticed. My date had told me previously she didn't tell anyone she was using an online dating site, so i don't know if her friend had mentioned that she was also using online dating. I'm just wondering what kind of conversation is going on in the house now??? hha
