in the event you burn your fingers or whatever, the best thing you can ever do ... is to place the burned area in FLOUR FIRST

You know why? It cuts off the air supply to the burn.

I`ve found (after burning my hand on the bottom of a white hot pot left too long on the stove, and not thinking - being dumb) ... that to keep the burned area as cold as possible, for as long as possible until the burning stops (a whole day if necessary) leaves not even a scar - just dried out skin that eventually peels off.

It is better to not burn yourself, to treat hot things with care and thought and concentrate.

Being concentrated doesn’t always help.sigh I like to drink a cup of hot milk before I go to bed, warm it up in a micro. And a couple of months ago, when I was taking hot milk out of the micro, the cup just left me its handle and fell. I’ve got hot milk over my whole hand. Had to dry it from the floor, and then keep the hand under running cold water, and then sit for a half of night with bits of ice wrapped into a handkerchief on the burnt hand. But indeed it heped: next day there were only few red spots left, no sores, no blisters.
