Well, this year I am going to buy my very own christmas tree, ever! I wouldnt, but my best mate is coming over from Switzerland for christmas this year. I always tried to avoid the whole, spending money, annoying xmas stuff. Donno what got into me this year, is it my age? confused
Whats your point of xmas? Is it just for the sake of spending money or what is it?

christmas is for the children, its seeing the excitement and joy on their faces when they realise santa has been and they got presents. its also time for families and remembering those that should be with us but arent for whatever reason.

its also about lining the pockets of the shops too though and getting as much money out of us as they can by trying to convince you your getting a bargain conversing

Get a real tree if you can!! They look better (even if they dont have that perfect artifical tree shape and create a beautiful smell in the room blushing

Xmas, for me, well I 'spose I'm still a big kid at heart, so I enjoy the period for all the memories it brings back, the buzz around town on Christmas eve, spending the day with my family and the dinner. My tree aint going up anytime soon, after the 8th at some stage, there is FAR too much comercialisation in the period that it gets a tad annoying.

I'm certainly not religious, I celebrate the ermm.....winter equinox and the coming of brighter evenings uh oh laugh. I tend not to spend 'that' much on presents I usually make people little items, so handing out the gifts is as exciting as recieving one yay
