Okay Riziwan, You got about a week to come up with a photo of yourself, okay? And only because you sound like a fellow with good manners, I am going to answer you.. the fact that you began with a polite "good morning".... counts a lot in life, politeness. Next is honesty... so .. a photo, okay? Doesnt matter if you think its not as good as the real you... its just to give us an idea of your general appearance.
The answer is YES, intellectual compatability does matter in a relationship. You dont want to be mated to someone who believes Wilbur Smith wrote South African History do you? Or someone who still believes in the Tooth Fairy? And then when you sitting with your intellectual buddies discussing the Speakings of Carl Gustav Jung, or Einsteins Theory of Relativity, she agrees and says "Howcome a Chinese named Jung has got a Russian name?" or "Howcome Einstein doesnt know about relatives?" and thats only 2 things. Unless of course you like the dilly little dolly-bird type of female that makes you look more intelligent cause she's just so dumb. Of course, there is the other point of view..... maybe your dilly little dolly-bird looks and acts dumb... but she holds a degree in Philosophy, or is a Professor of Something or Other, and just covers it all up, cause she doesnt have any hang-ups with intellectual compatability herself.... in which case, your problem is solved.dancing

Mr Weward , Your remark is highly questionable . Explain please .

Back to the thread ,
Yes it does . You need to be able to communicate effectively with your partner . Intellect allows to people to extract the same meaning from the same sentence or gesture . It is fine not to be understood once or twice but who could you put up with 24/7 misunderstanding ? And if there is a union after friendship .. and if there is a child it could become even more complicated .

And if there is a union to follow this friendship , .. birth of your children could add new dimensions to your problems .

Members on this site are entitle to have a profile with or without a photo . You did nothing wrong when you did not have photo and you are perfectly Ok with a photo . He saw your thread , he saw that you did not have a photo , he could have left without a comment . It is a shame that someone of his age and experience acts like this . I can not help feeling sorry for him .
