aries351971Lincoln, Nebraska USA4 Threads 24 PostsOk...still fairly new to all of this so help me out. I thought I included some of the key points in my profile...did not want to write an essay..lol. What does it take to get some real connection responses. By real connection I mean serious responses. Not to toot my own horn but I am intelligent, funny, easy on the eye, and full of life...so give me some feed back.

my profile's been re-written to very clearly state that i'm not available...that i've met my match on here.
people write me constantly telling me how much they enjoyed my profile, yada yada. how? can they read? or is it my PIC they enjoyed, eh?
i haven't looked at yours, so you can't take this personally in any way. the best things i can think of this early...avoid negativity at all costs. be positive and witty...use proper grammar and spelling, unless it's obvious that you are being cute with it...and tell enough to give a window into who you are.

Make sure that you reply your post . Even if it is a thanks but no . Take your time in getting to know people . Don't take it for granted that it has been taken onboard . Be yourself and make it easy for people to speak to you in their own way . If you do not understand something ask until you understand it . Accept people for what they . Do not treat them like tins of beans sat on a supermarket shelve ... Good luck x

I know what you mean...I have included in my profile that I was only here for the forums and nothing more but I found I get way more responses now than when I actualy had my original profile up. Funny how that works that way right?
I agree. Avoid anything negative. Give it some time and try to be more in the forums and participate. I find by doing that you will get noticed a lot more as well and its a fun way to let us get to know you and vice versa.
