Hi mickey have a dilemma and want too throw it open too everyone to advise on this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I met a woman on the internet and we got on well and i flew out to the states to see her and we had a very good time and got like a house on fire and we decided to go for it and i was in the process of re locating to the states to start a life with her.
Then xmas day i emailed her 4 times rung her twice and texted her numerous times and no reply even though i knew she was logged on and 36 hours later she then decided to talk to me but by this time i was well pevved and fed up and i spent all xmas day trying to talk with a person who is supposed to want to be with me and we were trying to start a new life together.

Do you think that i am over reacting about this situation????

as i think very differently about her now as obviously i am far lower down her priorities than i think i should be ( she was at home with her family all day)

should i now leave this it has gone as far as it is ever going to go?

I have not spoken too her since a big barney about this even though she has mailed me but not tried too ring me or text me.

Would you suggest i forgive ( wont forget) or just leave the status quo as it is now.

Ta mate

Sorry to read this, but it happens unfortunately.

Cold feet springs to mind,or just a change of heart.

It's a hell of a long way to relocate to find out you are not on the same wavelength.comfort

Good luck.

No I dont think you are overreacting, but she could of simply have wanted to spend Christmas day with her family, I think it is strange that she completely ignored you considering that you have both already met and that you are making plans to relocate confused dunno

Sounds like another case of this family unit was already established before you arrived on the scene wink

I will mail you as I have plenty of experience on this subject, I have been there. cheers

Hi CT, While I agree with the other comments, you do leave me with a few questions confused

Such as, did you discuss beforehand what her plans were for Christmas Day? Given the time-difference it may have been something you had already discussed.

The reason I ask is that just because someone is logged on, it does not necessarily mean they are at the pc, maybe just seeing if they received any e-cards/messages/flowers from friends. Out of interest did you send any to her?? Though, if you saw her posting things, then that certainly not a good sign. As for the phone, again, it goes to my original query, for we do not know where she was spending it dunno

Texting is the difficult one, though it could be she forgot her phone, or never had enough credit to reply??

You mention you had an argument, but we do not know her reasoning's for not contacting you. I'll admit it does not sound good, but without knowing her reasons its hard to say and it could be the way your tone possibly changed as you never received any replies that has made her take a step back, or she has had a change of heart or was in contact with someone else closer to home.. dunno

AS for the future, you both need to talk, preferably over skype or similar and see where you both want to take it.. Best wishes to both of you, whatever the outcome.. beer wine cool

Hi Island, if you are using a Windows machine, then you can go to the Start menu, and under All Programs, there may be a 'Maintenance' option,, which will show an option for 'Back-up & Restore'..

If you cannot see that, then go to Start menu and select Control Panel, and under 'Systems & Maintenance' there is an option for 'Back up your pc'...

As for where to back up your pc too, most pc's with one hard-drive will have a part already segregated for this function. However, many will in fact back-up everything they have on the pc to an external hard-drive that plugs into the usb port. The good thing about this is that, if anything goes wrong with your pc/laptop HD, then you still have everything applause

Hope this helps and if you have another operating system I will need more details, though others may be able to assist wine HNY as well wine cool
