anyhows to kick off my hols, myself and a friend went to a spa for a massage and some lunch after.
when we went to the spa I had a male therapist (very fit)do my massage, I didn't think anything of it but over lunch my friend said she would of hated it and that she would rather a female therapist any day because she would be too self concious in front of a male therapist...how would you feel about it...

Anytime I went to one of those massage places it was always females, usually oriental types in short skirts and low cut tops. I didn't realise them massage parlours catered for women at all. Fair play to you for highlighting it on here tusie..

I had a male therapist once for a massage and have to say I didn't mind it, plus they have stronger hands:)

thanks mc and no HC I try to avoid there like the plague I love getting a massage and go as often as I can afford it. At the moment my physical therapist is female but I have gone to male therapists in the past (my God it's really hard to write this without it sounding sordid!! ) Anyway male or female makes no difference to me as long as he/she is good at their job.
Some people are very prudish though and that needs to be respected. There are quite a few women in this country who will not go for a smear test(male or female doctor) because they are so embarrassed. If it's going to save my life I really don't give a damn!!
Ladies if you haven't been for a smear, get over it and GO!!

I suppose some women feel uncomfortable with male therapist working in a spa, but to be fair they leave the room while u undress so its not like they get to see anything
