Drinking binge (3)
homegnome: I just came off a 3-year drinking binge with only a few weeks off it here and there. Four nights ago people stated appearing in my room. They didn't say a word and just stared at me. It was so real; it was scary.
Two nights ago thhere were seven people in my room and my room is locked and the windows have bars on them.Three men were lying on my bed. I took the battery and lead of my computer and started whacking them but of course they weren't there to begin with. Two friends came over to confirm this and I now know it was the DTs
There is no professional help out here for this affliction (self-imposed I admit) but what is the best way to go about dealing with this?
Has anybody been through this without profesional help? What worked for you?

Sadly I have known and seen people go through the DTs. Not something I would wish on anyone

ermmmm. what happed that thred...dated....6/ll/1941.....this woman was worried for her family....(german bombing)...about moving to Wales....did any one on here reply to her....for comfort.....??????????....beings we,re going back in time with some threds.....just thought i,d ask....thats all.......
