Frankinstien: When the mood strikes me I bake bread . It isn't diffacult just time consuming . Then take the hot loaf and a thick slice with butter . I can just about eat the whole thing . Leftovers will be french toast tomorrow .
I used to bake bread before my kids were born and you are right about eating nearly the whole loaf hot with butter. Good thing I do t do that anymore or I'd be big as a house.

Myself :- rare to medium rump steak, cpl fried eggs, fries or hash browns, fried onions all covered with butter mushroom sauce, then sit back with a nice coffee, simple as.

Lambchops (nice thick little lamb chops) done on the barbq to a nice medium rare with mint sauce and rosemary with some asparagus and sour dough bread. A really nice old white cheddar cheese for an appetizer with some green grapes and lots of ice cold water to quench my thirst...mmmmmmmmhmmmmmmm

I'll also go for a medium steak OR
a thick pork chop with tender fried onions OR
fried shrimp OR
broiled salmon.
End it with strawberry ice cream.

Last night I felt energetic, so it was :
Chicken Parmasian with spagetti
Homemade sauce with meat, mushrooms and green pepper pieces
chicken was slow fried, then put on the plate and covered with grated Mozzarella cheeze... add the spagetti to the side and spread the sauce over all of it.
(if I was cooking for company... I'd add the little sprig of green thingy off to the side... but *I* was fussy so I left it off)
a small sub bun with garlic spread, toasted rounds it off
Oh... amost forgot the cuppa *fresh drip coffee* LOL
