lifeandmusic, you gave me the idea to get into some acdc last night and I wanted to thank you - I love them sooo much - I had a really great time just sitting here listening to different versions of acdc tunes - checking out some old bon scott stuff...u were my inspiration!!

Here's 2 groups I didn't see mentioned anywhere - Type O Negative which got 2 albums which are very good in particular, "October Rust" and "Bloody Kisses" - Helloween, german group from mid 80's and out - their 3 first albums, "Walls of Jericho", "Keeper of the Seven Keys part 1" and "Keeper of the Seven Keys part 2" - very good too. Vampire rock and machine gun rock for the win!
thanks - the concert sounds awesome - I'll bet it was - I am funny in my taste in metal - I am not really fond of anything too Goth or too speed
as far as modern I prefer numetal to speed - more of a numetal junkie as far as stuff post 80s
so even malmsteen for example, he is obviously a genius but his style is not my favorite, although I could watch him play forever !!
