phrase "mind your P's and Q's"

Many years ago in England , pub frequenters had a whistle baked into the
rim, or handle, of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill, they
used the whistle to get some service.
"Wet your whistle" is the phrase inspired by this practice.

I confess, I tried... Can't be done.

I actually didn't know a lot of those...

I love trivia like this...and yes I tried the elbow licking twice...if ya hold yer arm out straight palm down and twist your upper arm around you can do it...at least I can.
