I have met one lady here on the island. Not too many on here from St.Thomas, or at least not too many that ever log in. I've traveled to Mexico to meet a lady who in now my best friend, and I've traveled to Tennessee to meet a lovely lady who is now married to a man she met here on CS. This web site rocks !!

I met one man in person from here. All I can say, is thank heaven it was a public place. He was weird. Totally a different guy than his photo. Then for the most part, the rest of mine are either from the scammers, or "friends" that I have "met" in the Forums. I have been called a Pollyanna, though, and I am, so I am still hopeful.

Maybe it's the content of your message? Do you prove you read their profile by commenting on something you read there? I think due to the many scammer mails, both men and women have become a bit selective on which mails they reply to.
I only talk to people I met in the forums or blogs.
Just hang in there; there are plenty of real women out there.

Been to a few C S meetings and met loads of folk. I have hosted a few folk in Scotland and 95% have been great to meet.
I also chat to the folk I have met on the forums.

I did meet someone on a different website through a mutual friend
once, went and spent a week at her place in Veracruz, Mexico. It was great until she started talking about "giving" her 3 kids to her ex and me "giving" back my 2 daughters to my ex, and we could live happily ever after. I didn't like that idea. I've been raising my girls for the last 4 years because they chose to stay with me after their mother ran off and that isn't going to change.
