Hehe. It's not a fear. I just don't want some neurotic old woman in my life! I lived many years with someone that suffered from a borderline personality disorder. Won't go there again. :)
Proud? No, just enlightened, I've had more than my share of "girlfriends" in north America that ran off to "greener pastures" only to come crawling back when it didn't work out. I'm not going to be some sour old woman's desperate last resort....I'm too good for that. :)
I’ve been to the North, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Cat Ba island and all around the area. Found it odd as a Canadian I too needed a visa. Will be headed to south Vietnam soon. I absolutely enjoyed my time there!
The article in the link I posted was actually written by an American women. Personally I lost interest and stopped dating north American women almost 10 years ago. Seemed all they were looking for was money and whatever else they could steal.

Same goes for women. I found that out being a single dad. Women would just cut and run when they found out i had kids at home.
