The article in the link I posted was actually written by an American women. Personally I lost interest and stopped dating north American women almost 10 years ago. Seemed all they were looking for was money and whatever else they could steal.

Being an American woman living abroad, I would have to agree with a portion of the article. I chose to leave America for such reasons as these.Most of the opinions in the article were based upon the writer's outside experience. People have a tendency to contrast others in a negative light based upon their own familiar culture.
Foreigners will always be foreign...
While I live in an Eastern European country, I will never totally fit in. There are some Americanisms that never go away. I smile way too much and I am extremely optimistic in comparison.
In defense of the culprits, I would say they are a product of a society that has taught that Love is a transaction - give, in order to get. The value of a person is seen for the commodities they offer.
True Love is based upon the value of the person for their existence and the atmosphere they create around them. If all my possessions were stripped away, my character - and the love I radiate - would remain.

It's not just the women in our Society! Narcissism is a prevalent and a growing problem here with Women and Men alike! I haven't traveled the world very much but the little I have it seems to be a problem everywhere!
The main reason I'm on a dating site is that I can't find a woman that is not so self absorbed that she can care about anything but herself!
I know that doesn't include all women but they are getting harder and harder to find! And the better looking they are, the more narcissistic they are! In general!
