Good choice! I like most of the French classics. Radio Chanson (Paris) is good for those...I also saw the movie La Vie en Rose which was excellent!

Have you ever seen her on stage live? I wished I had, she's mesmerizing and her voice was simply angelic. It's one of the very few sane things my dad ever said "Edith Piaf, best singer ever".
