Hi Mr L..... I can beat that x2..Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 11th Feb. This last week I have been tying up all his accounts. The insurance company gave me 5,yes 5 options. I eventually got to speak to a young lady who could find no details of me on my fathers account. As he was deaf,I did all his accounts,bills/payments for the last 3 yrs...my details are definately on that account. The young lady says to me,"Is your father aware you are trying to access his account?" I said "No" she then tells me she cannot discuss his account with me, so I said to her "Well, you will be unable to talk to my father,at this point she tried interrupting me,so I asked her to let me finish....as I was saying, you will be unable to talk with my father as he died on 11th Feb. A sharp intake of breath on her part, then an apology as looking in to the account further, she found my details!

So sorry to read this in the Forums. As usual unable to take it private, but wanted you to know my heart goes out to you.hug

So sad to lose a parent, but worse the bureaucracy you have to deal with while dealing with your own personal loss.

Take care ,thinking of you. sigh
