single4ever: Still; you don't have to explain anything to anyone here on CS. Fact is they are not in your shoes and have no idea of what you are going through. Sometimes life can get you down. Its okay to vent and be frustrated. Trust me; almost every day I meet people here who are extremely unhappy with their lives and are struggling to make a living.

But the comment highlighted is very presumptious of you. You have no way of knowing what experiences people who have commented have had in their life or might still be having. The fact some believe that it´s a "mind set" and attitude rather than anything else that makes one feel down, isnot necesserally because they don´t know what they are talking about. In fact, I would say the opposite. No one could know that "attitude" makes a difference unless they´d lived it themself.
As a matter of fact, I am surrounded by people who are struggling to make a living (including me by most people´s standards ) ... The difference is they are not (and nor am I) extremely unhappy with their lives.

I think you may be better iff knowing she is not interested BEFORE she knows you have money instead of someone pretneding to be interested because you have it....that latter scenario never ends well...

I stand by what I say. You are not in his shoes; neither am I. You may have had the same experiences but that is not the same as what he is going through. We each have our own personal struggles and unless you are a mind reader; you don't know how it affects him. Your view is just that; your view but you can't speak for him or me. I too am surrounded by people with no money and they are by no means happy. Every place is different. Every person's mindset is different. I would never presume to say I know how someone felt because I am not them. I only know how I felt in the same situation.
