If he's found out about that affair what others might there have been over the years? We might think of it as been a very long time, but very often old people say to me that events that happened 20-30 years ago are like yesterday. It could very well be the same impression that the man has. And I wouldn't blame him.

10yrs for me is like nothing. LOL. For him, 70 years maybe the same. It's too easy for us to just say '70 years? too long to be worried'. If I was him I'd be really pissed.

Reading the article it seems that the marriage had other problems...
and the divorce sounds more like the result of anger as opposed to jealousy...

Not,according to Mr.Antonio C,-who´s outraged,when he found out about his beloved wife´s affair....
Wouldn´t commit,and wouldn´t tolerate unfaithfulness myself,-but maybe this is a bit extreme.....
