Motivation to me is like a warm blanket on a cold night, It wraps around me and makes me warm inside and out. When I talk with people about motivating themselves, I always make sure to tell them that they need to believe in themselves and that belief will take you anywhere. A good belief system produces consistencies in life, when you set your goals higher you must believe you will reach then no matter what. Belife in one's self can make you motivatated beyond everyday thinking and promote a positive result. On the other side of the spectrum the same apllies if you believe you will fail, ussualy you more than just fail you hit rock bottom and then only then does life go up. I've also found that by changing yur vocabulary you can really affect your emotional state. Example: I used to say things like "I hate this" or "I hate doing this with you" when I changed my vocabulary it comes out like this "I prefer not do this" or "I would rather not do this, I'd prefer to do this with you" Well I hope this helps some people out there. Have a good day all
Yeah, I took a depression test a few years ago. If 5 of the possible 9 questions applied to me, I should run to the psych ward for medication, I came up with 7 (is that bad?). I didn't med myself, instead I focused on dark, broody artistic expression (heavy metal, the good stuff) and tried to change my focus (no mary jane involved). Expression helped, I got a huge reaction when I showed my work and my brother almost got laid when he sang some of my material. Depression makes me happy
