I've been wondering whether he got a CTEK battery charger to charge small bike batteries ok

Lot these small batteries can't properly charged by higher amps chargers. The CTEK 8 stage charger can charge bike batteries using 0.8amps the CTEK designed in Sweden is able to that
the bike battery on CT200 Honda takes a 0.9amp max charge as best as i could figure

What you can do is go into dicksmiths or much the same and get something like a big cell charger of the matching amp (milli) and volts you want . I did it for a uniden radio charger pod after one of my inverters zapped it , cheap as hell . you will need a cheap multi meter as well . Are you running your computer of this battery

no no talking quad bikes and ag bike batteries
A Yuasa YB9-B battery
Product Features
* thin separators mean extra plates - up to 30 per cent more cranking power*
* Sulfate Stop helps reduce plate sulphation and provide longer life
* heavy duty glass mat separators resist vibration damage
* Voltage: 12 v
* Capacity: 9 Ah *
Dimensions: 135mm x 75mm x 139mm
* Weight: 3.1 kgs

To fully charge the YB9-B i found a charger CTEK MXS 5.0 manages to FULLY CHARGE the battery, not one third fully charge it

The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 8-step charger that delivers selectable 0.8A or 5A to 12V batteries from 1,2-110Ah and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 160Ah. The charger is IP 65 classified (splash and dust proof), designed to protect vehicle electronics and non-sparking, reverse polarity protected and short-circuit proof. It is delivered with a 5-year warranty.

the other five chargers here couldn't charge the the battery FULLY

there is only 100 cycles in an auto battery , if say your battery has cycled 100 times in the top 25% it will have gone and no amount of charging will get it back . Slow charging is always best . Why is the bike not charging ? I shall have to catch you up tomorrow as its getting late (batteries willing )
