sofarsogood74: Anyone else get a bad flu or cold this summer. I have one about 2 weeks now and I can't seem to shake it. Just when I think I am getting better it hits me again like a train.

Anyone any advice on what to take to get rid? I have used all the usual chemist stuff.

just rest and plenty of fluidsireland

very true...my dad wasnt well at xmas and typical man thought he would ride it out and just wait.....2 months later he still wasnt well....turns out he would have had pneumonia and not has mild diffuse bronchitis which wont get any better....it just needs managed now.

Sofar......you might look a bit odd, but I reckon one of those white masks is essential anytime you fly from now on.....at least til you are well and truly over whatever it is you have.

I think you could be right. You see a lot of Asian people on long haul flights wearing them. I might just take a leaf out of their book.
