Yeah. A brown/blue eyed mother/father gives on average a ratio of 3:1 in favour of Brown. So if you have 4 kids, 1 might be blue.... on average.

I guess it depends on the region of a country and genetics passed on through the generations. My father was born in Ireland and he was brown haired and brown eyed.

I spent a week in Lucerne (Switzerland). A large chunk of the people there were brown eyed and dark. The Latin influence extends all the way into central Switzerland. The look is definitely different than say... the Moorish look you might get in Southern Portugal or Sicily. Switzerland itself is a confluence of German, French and Italian influences.
