Hi 'freeze'...I did have problems with those,but I got rid of them!
I now use a messenger that is compatable with 'MSN'-'HOTMAIL'-'YAHOO'-'AOL'............It's really cool and what I would call 'clean',in other words NO CRAP WITH IT....

I had all sorts of problems when I downloaded MSN 2 months ago, nothing specific but everything was running so slow with lots of error messages so I got rid of it.

Oh dear if you cant chat you must be going mad..might I suggest a rather weird bar I know where there are all kinds of people there who love to chat...you can spot the regulars slumped at the bar.dont be put off if a guy asks if you have seen his door just humour him.oh and count your change if you buy a drink..happy days

try an instant messenger from Hushmail. is compatible with all the others (MSN, AOL, ICQ...you name it) and it has an encryption of 2048 bits......four times the one they use for banking transactions. and it's FREE!!!!!!
