ErskineCougar: Every dating site that I've been on ( including this one ); the men have only thing on their mind. How can I take this woman for all her MONEY? We women & you men have to understand that the con artist come in all shape & sizes. That's why I say all men are liars & tht's why I have my sites are so high for what I want in a man.

I don't mean to pull apart everything you write but you're contradicting yourself.

For one thing, you say that men are always asking you for money and that all they have on their mind is to ask you for money. If you live on $7,000 a year, I doubt that you would be exuding that you're wealthy. So why do you say that they are always asking you for money.

Your profile says you want a platinum wedding....now you say you just want companionship. I'm all for companionship but why did you change you mind after you wrote the thread?

You have a right to want a rich, good looking man who isn't a child molestor, a drag queen or a wife beater BUT that's not something that is usually written in a profile. It goes without saying that those are negatives in a relationship.

And then you say "if you can't fill these requests don't bother applying".

Now I ask you Erskine, how many nice men do you think are going to be interested in a woman with so many demands?dunno

If I was to come across someone who had been married 3 times, I'd walk the other way. It may have been down to poor choice on thier part or it could be they have a large flaw in their personality/character, either way, I wouldn't be interested. That would also be the same if someone admitted all their relationships were full of arguments, or every partner had cheated, or all relationships were short.

ErskineCougar: I've been in three failed marriages & every man that I have met here on this site is a compulsive liar. No I won't tone down what I want in a man. If you've know the hell I've been through; you'd agree with me on my expectations!

In your place I would put the focus on myself and my inside and would try to understand why I have been together with men who made me feel unhappy. If you will have understood that, then you will be able to change yourself, you will be able to see what is good in you, and good men who are comfortable with themselves will be interested in making you happy (and not in things like money).

Generalizations concerning humans are always stupid and not logical.
The men I know are wonderful creatures, and I would die if they were not there.

i noticed that too...coz i wanted to quote you...i didn't see anything offensive in it.
but you know with text, so much of it depends on the perception of the reader.
and it was the first time i noticed, one can't use the quote button with a hidden text...lol.

And NO, not all men are liars...apparently you've been going after the wrong men, maybe you need to change what you're looking for? Try something different, since what you're doing is apparently not working for you? Hmm? hmmm

I think men fib a lot about things that will get them in trouble. I don't think they all lie like mad all the time. But some of them do. You just never know.
