think some printers need both of them to have ink to work..check the manual

look up the manual on line and see can it work with only one cartridge? one of our printers in work can print with only the black cartridge but the others need both to have ink in them even just printing blackfast_and_furious: Have a canon printer! Take the cartridge out and shake it gently. Put it back and try printing again.

So bascically I need colour cartridge for it to work?

MermaidDreams: Found an online link to download the user manual from, you just need to place a check in the licence agreement and disclaimer box then click on download. Should be able to find out the issue there.

I got almost 50replies, which was amazing. I was hoping for 100.. but delighted 50 people took their time to assist me..
Problem is some of the people asked for the info not to be shared, so I have to respect their wished and keep it on the quiet

i read somewhere that if you talk or play nice music to flowers that they grow really well,why not try talking to the printer,tell it,look printer if you dont print for me,i'll put you out through the window,if it still doze not work,back up your words and put it out through the window,that'll teach it

I will know next week if I am approved.. I had to submit 3 thesis topics... I will know which one I am OK'd to do LOL
I wanna get it finished by Xmas so I can focus on other assignments that will crop up
