A_Non_A_Moose: LOL! Hey man,....quit giving ideas about the frying pans! LOL!

Yup,...first one starts next Wednesday,...the next first Monday in December,....no experience what so ever,...lol,....gonna be a long winter,...but there is light at the end of a tunnel,...(and probably a train,...!),.....soon,....just gonna drive in and pound on your door,...we need to discuss frying pans,...(gotta spare hockey helmut?)

Sorry 'bout that, I thought it was just for decorative purposes in the kitchen, not an implement for behavioural adjustments. laugh

Green, that's the best way to get 'em, you can train them in whatever manner you like that way. thumbs up

Hmmm, had to think about that, I might have a helmet kicking around. laugh

langleygirl: ok ... I'll start at least a few ideas

Mars bars with peanuts - does such a thing exist anymore? Limited quantities of course otherwise I'll look like the turkey!!!

Thats about it for now until I can think of more

It is with great sadness having conducted diligent research, that since 2006 ALL Mars Bars in Canada are peanut-free. On the international front, in the US Mars Bars may contain a bit of almonds, but no peanuts. Snickers (also made by Mars) DOES have peanuts!wink banana

Hmmm,....back when I was a kid I really can't remember ANYONE having a peanut allergy! Although not proven, I have read a hypothesis that the very fact that we have become so "sanitary" has given rise to the immune system "attacking" non-threating food allergens in an attempt to develop the immune system. Basically attacking the "wrong" things, because the "right" things are not present.

I've always been a strong proponent for people wallowing in filth.laugh

Ummm, as and aside, and sorta Christmas related. I was at a house party in my early 20's, and a few of us were in the basement playing darts. All of a sudden there was screaming and huge commotion upstairs, people running around and things being knocked over.uh oh

I figured there was a fight, so headed upstairs to see what was going on, through the kitchen and into the living room. No fight, so I asked WTF is going on. One girl pointed outside, and there was a girl I knew, with her pants down below her knees standing in the snow next to her truck. wow

My first thought was some guy was inappropriate, and was going to get a severe beating, then I thought, damn, she's even cuter than I first realised. grin That's when someone said, she ate something with peanuts in it, and she was out there getting her Epipen, and that's when she stuck herself in the thigh with it. shock

Although I'd heard of people being deathly allergic before, to bee stings, peanuts, etc., I'd never seen anything like that before, or knew anyone that was. A bit of an eye opener, knowing that she could have died from it.

Anyway, it was a Christmas party, so it fits in this thread. laugh

rolling on the floor laughing And speaking of wallowing,...I had to pull up the septic tank pump and replace it (good thing I had a spare pump) and am now waiting for the "honey wagon" to show up (yup, it needs to be pumped,...its that time!)

As a farm kid I DEFINITELY had my immune system built up early!rolling on the floor laughing

Hmmm, now how in the hell do I relate this thread back to Christmas!dunno

Wait a minute,....years ago I can remember being at a Christmas party too! (Minus the epi pen adventure you had!)grin

Better you than me, I've never had that experience before, although I have had to pump a few out over the years. Yep, farm and acerage life exposes you to things those poor city kids never do.

Ahh yes, dear ol' Mr. and Mrs.Despise..."they're so miserable that even cancer doesn't want anything to do with them". That's something someone else said about them, so it gives you an idea of how well they're liked in the community. roll eyes

I'd give them the gift of napalm if it was legal, but it isn't, sadly....bloody right wing fascists. mumbling
