From about age 7 to 10 all I wanted was an elephant. I never got one. Santa, if you're reading this...scrap the elephant idea, I've enough parking issues as it is.

I was 13 or 14 and wanted a bike, parents could not afford the bike at xmas so told me if I would choose something else for xmas they would get me a bike for the summer. So in June on my birthday, came home for school and was sent to pick up a message for my mum, yep it was my bike I was soooo happy and excited I could have cried, still remember that feeling of pushing the bike down home, not believing it could be mine and looking at my mum saying she gave me this for you and my mum saying that's the bike me and your dad promised you, well I got on that bike and rode to my dads work to meet him saying look I got my bike and him joking there must be some mistake, I was the happiest kid in the world. I looked after it so well at 21 I gave it to my aunt, still shining as I treated the silver elements with vaseline every year to prevent rust. very happy

I was devastated, I remember coming round after an operation I had when I was 6 and the first thing I asked for was my truck.....the nurses thought I was hilarious, wasn't very often they found a girl who didn't like playing with dolls laugh
