I don't see anything wrong with boys learning how to feed a baby or a girl playing with a toy gun.
Women carry guns in the armed services so what's the beef?

Alright, call it the logical opinion. All adverts are created to influence people. If the advert is not created for business purposes, which it should be and can easily be shown that it isn't, then that means it's influencing for another purpose.

Maybe in the case of the toy makers it would take rocket science.
After all it's not as if they as have any sense or they wouldn't create most of the junk that's in the stores.But it also goes for the business owners who sell the toys to begin with.

Takes me back to when I was a boy when all we had was a set of marbles... mind you we were lucky back then to even get a cup of tea - cold, without milk or sugar, OR tea! - and there was never much time for play after Father came home from 14 hours at the mill to thrash us to sleep with his belt.

It is a bit obvious in that it is not the typical, it also sounds like in the past they were criticized for the opposite of what is going on now. This use of the word "Hen" is a odd one as well...maybe penny money should have been henny penny. But all in all I doubt that we will need Austin Powers to save the day or the Dr. Evil will be neutralizing the multitudes. What to say......thanks for the warning though. ( maybe that girl with the machine gun likes to watch Nikita La Femme}. As for selling and making money, If you are focusing in on a target market and expanding then maybe they felt they would sell more by making these changes. it would be interesting to see the profits now and then.
